Another LO completed. These are the youngest photos I could find of my mum. Had another one of mum with her dad, but his head was chopped off in the photo, so couldn't use it. (I seriously thought about it tho..................LOL)!
I made the butterflies - out of some plastic packaging I have been hoarding, stamped with StazOn and coloured with Twinkling H2O's. Pretty happy with the results, altho very fiddly to make. This is the only butterfly stamp I have, not really what I wanted but it will do. And I have learnt that PVA Craft Glue and Twinkling H2O's do not mix - not when on plastic anyway.
First time doing a heritage LO - and because I am using all the same Basic Grey PP group, it was difficult to get the right colours. Really tried to avoid pink tho, and I think it worked OK.
What do you all think? Is this OK for the first page of Mum's Album or should I do a title page? IYKWIM? TFL and please comment - all comments happily received and constructive criticism is always welcome! :-)

My goodness love the butterflys Lisa clever girl I'm sure your Mum will to. Think this would be fine as front page, like you said it's the youngest photo. Keep up the good work.
Oh have you selected the album to put everything in yet would love to see it?

This is lovely Lisa.
CLever you with the butterflies.
The lace is gorgeous.
Great cover page...ooorrrrr
you could go with a favourite photo of mum, put some heartfelt journalling with it or a dedication, and go with that as the cover and then start the album with this one.
but I think this as a cover would be great. It all depends on you... and what you want the album to say.
did that make sense... just come off an overnight shift.

Hi Lisa - this page looks absolutely wonderful! I really like it and think it would make a great first page. Orrrrr, you could do something like a personal letter to your Mum about why you did this for her, how special she is etc? (It could equally be the last page). Over to you!

I added you to my blog roll tonight:)
